At Amphibian King we are passionate about all things running. Established in the summer of 2006, we were the first Store in Ireland to offer expert Gait Analysis. This ensures that we help you find the right shoe for how your foot naturally functions.
The team at Amphibian King are all keen runners or triathletes. Between us all we have taken part in 5K runs (or walks!) up to Ironman events. All of our staff are qualified in Gait Analysis and together with their running experience and product knowledge are here to help fit you into the right pair of shoes not the most expensive pair of shoes.
The Team at Amphibian King
Damian McKeever -
Damian took part in his first Olympic distance triathlon in 2000. Although finding it tough, the bug had bitten and so did his running and triathlon "career". Throughout the years he has taken part in various events including Marathons and Ironman Triathlons. By his own admission, he would say that he is not the faster performer among his friends and colleagues but his love of running and triathlons has had him finish in the Dublin City and Auckland Marathons and also five Ironman Triathlons. It was whilst he was living in Auckland, NZ that he received training in Gait Analysis.
Gary Crossan - Ballymount Store Manager

Gary is an experienced runner and has won many titles in his time. He finished first 4 times at the National Marathon Championship, 1st place in the Connemara Ultra Marathon and has represented Ireland at the World and European Hill Running Championship. He is a modest man and his marathon PB is 2 hours 19. Gary is mostly in the Ballymount store.
Oonagh Morrissy - Bray Store Manager.
Oonagh just finished her first Ironman in Majorca 2014 in a very fast time, Well faster than Damians and that's all she needed to do for bragging rights in the shop. In 2011 she won the Middle Distance National Championship in her age group. Oonagh enjoys longer events like the 55K Art O'Neill challenge and Mizen to Malin Cycle. Some of the events on her bucket list are the Comerades and the Marathon de Sables. Oonagh is usally only found in the Bray store.
Damo has won too many races to list here. He's a regular at all the local races and although he has done marathons he prefers the cross country and 5k 10k road races. Damien takes a running group from the bray shop every Tuesday which is very popular.
