Saucony Guide 9

This is a big step forward from the Guide 8 with Saucony introducing their new cushioning system "EVERUN" into this shoe. This was my first time to try the new EVERUN cushioning system and it definitely feels a lot softer more cushioned under foot. I'm a big runner so I like very cushioned shoes, but I do overpronate and need a little bit of support at the same time. Previously i've run in the Brooks Transcend (which I loved but it wasn't a very popular shoe) and my go to shoe for the past few years has always been the Saucony Omni.  I felt really comfortable in the Guides. I've probably clocked close to 150k on them at the moment...

Brooks Ravena 6

Brooks Ravena is a new enough shoe to us here in Amphibian King. We've been selling it's older brother the Brooks Adrenaline for close to 10 years and it's been a great shoe for us. Customers love it but the Ravena we've only had for the last 2 years. In that time it's built up a bit of a customer base. Brooks class it as more of a guidance shoe that an out and out Support shoe the way the Adrenaline would be.  I've tried plenty of Brooks shoes in my time mainly their support ones as I tend to need a support shoe especially for the longer runs.
